About Teesside Electricians

Electrical work is the trade where the gap between a good job and a dangerous one is invisible. Two quotes can say "consumer unit, £500" and mean entirely different things: one a modern RCBO board with surge protection, full testing, an Electrical Installation Certificate and building control notification; the other a box on the wall and a wave goodbye. This site exists to push every quote towards the first format, so a homeowner or landlord can compare on substance instead of instinct.

How it works

Tell us about the job: what you need done, the property, and your postcode. The enquiry goes to one independent local electrician covering your area, who looks at the job properly and puts a fixed written price together. Consumer unit upgrades, full and partial rewires, EV charger installation, EICR certificates, lighting and fault repairs all follow the same standard.

The standards we hold quotes to

• A fixed written price: the circuits, the board, the accessories and the making good listed, so there is no day-rate drift.
• Certification included: the right certificate for the work, issued on completion rather than on request.
• Part P notification: notifiable work registered with building control, with the confirmation certificate landing with you afterwards.
• A registered electrician: current competent person scheme membership, verifiable on the scheme's own register.
• Honest making-good terms: who chases, who fills, and what decoration is and is not included, written down before work starts.
• Insurance you can read: public liability cover evidenced by certificate, dates checked.

Who runs it

The site is run by 360 Media Works Ltd, a Teesside company founded by Simon Hogben, from Varsity House on the Preston Farm estate in Stockton-on-Tees. The guides are written to be useful whether or not you ever request a quote here, which is why they include the figures and the awkward questions a sales page would leave out.
